Enormous, brutish creatures with almost no natural intelligence, cyclopes are giants gone wrong. They communicate only in grunts and snorts, and will attack nearly anything they see.
Shortly after the giants were pushed across the mountains, a number of them decided that they were going to have to adapt to the new world. As such, they attempted to alter themselves using dark magic that has never been divulged to the outside world. While the intent of the spell was to make them smaller, thus intermingling with society, the result was a one-eyed, grotesque creature.
Height: - 50-60 feet
Characteristics: - One eye - Will often rip up small trees to use for clubs. - Often drawn to noise.
Habitat: - Gintor - Scorched Lands.
Weaknesses: - Poor depth perception. - Often grow flustered around water.
Other notes: - As cyclopes have no understanding of boundaries, there is no particular reason why they can't be found throughout the entire continent. However, noisemakers have been set up along the border of the Scorched Lands, which help ensure that all escaping cyclopes are drawn into kill zones. Additionally, the same enchantments that keep the giants behind the mountains help keep the cyclopes in check as well, meaning that cyclopes seen outside either of those two lands are extraordinarily unusual. And, by extension, dangerous.
