You ever have something that you know you should do, but really don't want to do?
Yeah, for me, that's writing this update this week. Maybe I'll switch to monthly updates to what I get done looks more impressive Anyhow... A look at what I've been doing and what I plan to do! This week: - TEQ Volume 4: Citizens of Ash: Ghosts (Chapter 55) Behind the Scenes: - There are many famous sayings that state that without a plan, you will not accomplish much. I can attest to the fact that this is true. Those keeping up with my updates will notice that last week I kinda had a meltdown. This week has been... Better. In response to what happened last week, this week I've been in contact with people in my parish about the issue, and have been doing a great deal of praying. I wouldn't necessarily say that I've suddenly improved over my mental state last week, but I'm better. In actual writing news, I spent a great deal of time working on Age of Saints. It's still proving to be an interesting project, and one that I'm enjoying working with. My progress this week wasn't as astounding as I would have liked, but it's progressing quite well, and for that I'm pleased! And... That's really all I've got on that department. Next week: - TEQ Volume 4: Citizens of Ash: Escapes (Chapter 56) Behind the Scenes: - Remember how I just said that things don't really happen without a plan? ... I don't really have a good plan for this next week. ... Actually, that's not completely true, but it's not necessarily false either. I'm going to spend the majority of my time working on Age of Saints, at least as much as I have. That said... Next week is kind of a major holiday that involves lots of family who tend to disapprove of people sitting in the corner silently working on secret projects. Soooooo... We'll see what winds up happening! As stated when I first started writing Age of Saints, I'm planning on setting it aside after a certain length of time so that I can come back to it with fresh perspectives. That plan is still in place, I plan to spend a couple more weeks on it before putting it away for awhile. With this next week being so crazy, I'll probably divide my time between Age of Saints and working on smaller projects for Eternal Quest. But, as with all things, we'll just have to see how it turns out. Until next time! Dakota *on a brief side note, if anyone else is as distressed about the state of the Catholic Church as I am, regardless of denomination or religious affiliation, feel free to reach out to me. The more this subject is discussed and the more people brought into the loop, the higher the likelihood becomes that something will actually be done about it.
