Weekly Update: 1/17

Anyhow...

A quick look at what I've gotten done and what I plan to do next!

Last week:

- TEQ Volume 4: Citizens of Ash: Beginning Again (Chapter 63)

Behind the Scenes:
- This week was... Rough. Mix car troubles with low sleep, and... Let's just say that I wasn't nearly as productive as I was planning on being. That said, the week wasn't completely without fruits. Instead of working on TEQ, I shifted my focus and began once again working on Age of Saints. I know, I know, I said I wasn't going to start on that again until I finished Volume 5 of TEQ, but... I don't know. Plans are plans, but if the muse to write doesn't strike, it's hard to force words onto paper when you REALLY want to be writing something else.
In that pursuit, I got quite a lot done on Age of Saints, and have completed work on the first half of the novel (okay, I have like three paragraphs left in Part 1, but I'm BASICALLY done). I'm really very pleased with the way it's all coming together. It's a very powerful story, much deeper and darker than I usually tread.

Next week:

- TEQ Volume 5: The Fist of Sintison: Refugees (Chapter 64)

Behind the Scenes:
- I know, I know, I know. I'm falling behind on TEQ, but... I just feel like I NEED to be working on Age of Saints right now. It's hard to explain, but I really think this is a story that has to be told. Thus, my plans for the moment are to keep working on Age of Saints, with the hopes of finishing it in the next few weeks. I do still have a month and a half of lead time on TEQ, so I'm really not worried. Anyway, I just... As I said about, I think that Age of Saints needs to be written. I don't want to share much more than that at the moment, so... Hopefully I'll be finished soon and be able to give more details at that point!

I know it's a shorter update, but that's really all I've got!
