Did you know that the rarest disease in the world is RPI-deficiency?
In all of recorded medical history, only three people have ever been recorded with it. Which means that, at present, it's slightly more likely for someone to have this illness than for them to read this update. *sigh* But I refuse to be daunted! Behold! A quick look at what I got done this week and what I plan on doing next week! This week: - TEQ Volume 3: Creatures of Darkness: The Invasion of Nettingo (Chapter 40) Behind the Scenes: - This week has been the single busiest week I have had in a long time. And believe me, that's saying something. I probably can't go into details due to all the paperwork I signed when I started my day job, but... This week was a colossal nightmare. I wound up having to work a good bit of overtime, which actually DID cut into my writing time. And when I was able to go on break, it was with the knowledge that I would soon be returning to the storm that I actually had no part in causing for once. As a result, I didn't get much done. Last week, I was partway through TEQ chapter 54. Today... I sit halfway through chapter 55. I haven't even tried working on edits to Apocolyps Squad II, because I need to be able to focus a decent amount of mental energy on making sure that it's as good as the first. And I just haven't had that energy. So... Yep. Not a lot to show for the week, and for that, I apologize. Next week: - TEQ Volume 3: Creatures of Darkness: Recovery (Chapter 41) Behind the Scenes: - Honestly don't know what to say here. While I'm not anticipating any train wrecks like this week, next week is poised to be just as busy as this week at my day job. So I really don't know what I'll get done or what I don't! If work stays the way it is, my goal will probably be to keep plugging away at TEQ, making my way into Volume 4 (BTW, stay tuned for the title reveal of Volume 4 here soon!!!). If it can clear up a bit, I'll probably switch to Apocolyps Squad II edits, since I'd like to be releasing that in just a couple short months. I guess we'll see! Until next time! - Dakota
