Let's get down to business!
*insert the sound of my head pounding against the keyboard in the hopes that something coherent emerges*
A look at what I've gotten done and what I plan on doing next week!
- TEQ Appendix D: Blood Moon Rising: Trial by Combat (Chapter 46)
Behind the Scenes:
- Once again, I missed last week's update. First off, I want to apologize for that. This time, I'll offer a bit more of an explanation. As some of you likely know, my daughter has Cystic Fibrosis. It's not fun, but it's manageable. Most of the time. Unfortunately, the last several weeks have more or less been a whirlwind of hospital visits and late nights. It's honestly just left me drained, and even though it's getting *better*, this most recent bout of illness doesn't seem to be done yet (I think I only got three hours of sleep last night, so please pardon any grammatical inconsistencies in this update).
That said, I still have managed to make progress! If you'll direct your attention to the "store" button at the top of the screen (or just scroll down to the update directly below this) you'll notice that Apocolyps Squad II is now available for preorder!!! Launching on the 30th (just ten days!!!), it's a wild ride that you don't want to miss!!!
While most of my energy through these last couple weeks have been focused on getting Apocolyps Squad II ready for launch, I have also gotten a bit more done in some other areas. Admittedly, not a lot, but I did manage to finish up Chapter 60 of TEQ! I also managed to work on some other miscellaneous projects, such as preparing more maps for the website and making early stabs at a draft of Apocolyps Squad III.
- TEQ Appendix D: Blood Moon Rising: Battle of the Gods (Chapter 47)
Behind the Scenes:
- Honestly, a lot of what happens in the coming week depends on whether or not my daughter gets better. Assuming for a moment that she does improve (and I'm desperately praying that she does), I'd like to focus primarily on TEQ for the next week. It's kinda fallen by the wayside as I've prepared for Apocolyps Squad II, and I'd like to return to it. I have four more chapters to complete before I finish Volume 4, which will mark a major turning point in the series (refer to this update for more details). And, as stated above, I'm working on some new maps (and possibly redoing some of the older maps that I created when I first started up this website). So... I think that's going to be my goal! Chapter 64 by next week. Goals are good, right?
Until next time!
