Noted Lore: - After Hinchipol's gift to humanity, humans began to experiment with his fantastic magical powers. However, their clumsiness led to many accidents that resulted in thousands of deaths. Hinchipol's brother, Sarcil, felt sorry for humanity and their ignorance. Following in his brother's footsteps, Sarcil gave his own life to create a vast underworld, a place to house the souls of humanity after they died. His soul still exists as this underworld, a place that humans, and even members of other races, may look forward to upon death.
Conventional lore: - If the traditional stories of Dararma, Hinchipol, and Sarcil have any value at all, it is only to point out how destructive humans can be to both themselves and the gods that dare stick their neck out for them. While Hinchipol's previous existence has been verified, Sarcil's existence is a bit harder to pin down, due to the scarcity of his name in early records as well as conflicting early accounts. It is likely that the early wizards, bolstered by their victory over Hinchipol and their new magic, did either use their magic to create an underworld or entrapped another god that they sacrificed to create that underworld. The existence of the underworld is undeniable, as all souls around Calsin (humans in particular) are quite easy to bring back from the dead in various forms (though fully bringing a person back from the dead is nigh-on impossible).
