The Eternal Quest:* An orc, a dwarf, and an elf walk into a bar. What happens next? Status: Written through: Chapter 89
Dawn of the Empire Once, many thousands of years ago, the elves lived as scattered Families clustered into loose kingdoms. This was not to remain the case, however, as the dawn of the mighty Elven Empire loomed nigh over them... Status: Early plotting. Unlike my other perpetual stories, I'd like to release this simply as a standalone miniseries, so to speak. Absolutely no idea when or even if this will come to fruition, but it's a style that I would really like to explore moving forward. I also desperately need a less cheesy title...
The Curse of Knowledge (Volume 2): A spin-off of The Eternal Quest, The Curse of Knowledge follows Hesione and Paulin after their storyline splits from the main group. Cast across the winds of time and space, they travel deep into the past and far into the future, from the ancient sands of Calsin to ships that sail between the stars themselves. Status: Written through: Chapter 2. Ideal release date: Fall 2020.
Age of Saints: Separated from Rome by a zombie apocalypse, the Catholic Church in New York struggles to find its path in the absence of a Pope. Fifty years after the Infection, Father Riley is summoned to St. Patrick's Cathedral to attend a conference focused around handling that specific issue, while Arthur Benedict of the Knights of the Blessed Mind uses a sword to carve his way across the landscape while chasing down a potential mutation in the zombie virus that could spell the doom of everyone left alive... Status:Drafted (92, 041 words), awaiting editing. Targeted release date: ???
*Author's note: This book is a far cry from anything I've written. If it was a movie, I would describe it as a hard-R. I wouldn't necessarily describe it as a commentary, but it was certainly written with that intent, as a response to the horrifying displays that we've seen coming from the Vatican of late. As a Roman Catholic, I love my Church, but... Some of the things that have been happening lately aren't acceptable by any stretch of the imagination. As such, I don't know exactly when or how I'll wind up releasing this one, but my hope is to have it out by the end of 2020.
Glyphrunners: Pasara was an unremarkable city. Built on the edge of a mountain range and an expansive plain, it was a standard stopping point for traders passing from the great western palaces through the mountains to the eastern fortresses. It was a safe haven for those who only wished to travel somewhere else. It was my home. During that fateful summer, it became something far more: A spark that ignited flames that still burn to this day. Status:Edited (64, 269 words), awaiting publication. Targeted release date: ???
*Author's note: This one is a YA Epic Fantasy that I've been more or less keeping under wraps (I talked about it last summer but haven't mentioned it much since then). It's basically ready to ship out to the printers, but circumstances thus far haven't allowed me to push it through just yet (due in part to my focus on the Apocolyps Squad trilogy). Hopefully I'll be able to start moving forward on this one later this summer, but a lot of it will really depend on God's timing.
Untitled Takamo Universe Project http://www.takamouniverse.com/ At this point, I don't have much to say here, just that I've been selected to write a novel set within this universe! Check out the website, and stay tuned for more details as I release them! Status: Plotting
